Dawn Cottage is a light and airy barn conversion set on a family-run farm in the heart of the Peak District National Park, offering stunning panoramic views over the River Dove. Situated between Ashbourne and Buxton in the Dovedale region, the cottage is part of a traditional livestock farm where cows, sheep, geese, hens and sheepdogs are raised. Located on a gentle hillside, it provides glorious views of the surrounding countryside, including the Tissington Trail and the Dove Valley.

The ground floor features an open-plan living space with a cosy wood burner, Freeview TV, DVD and CD players and a selection of DVDs for relaxing evenings. The dining area sits beside a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge, creating a comfortable space for home-cooked meals. Upstairs, the cottage has three generously sized bedrooms: one with a king-size bed, one with two single beds and one with a double bed, all retaining original beams and offering beautiful views of the countryside. The bathroom includes a bath with a shower over, a heated towel rail and a toilet.

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included in your stay. Additional amenities include a cot, highchair, stairgate and laundry facilities with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outside, guests can enjoy a private patio with garden furniture, ideal for taking in the views and there is secure bike storage for cyclists. One well-behaved dog is welcome but must be kept on a lead due to the working farm environment. Private parking is available for three to four cars and the property is non-smoking.

With easy access to the Tissington Trail and River Dove from the doorstep, Dawn Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring the many scenic walking and cycling routes of the Peak District. Places to visit include:
