4 Callanish offers charming self catering accommodation on the Isle of Lewis. We are in a fantastic position on the Western Isles, just a 10 minute walk from the Callanish Stones and Visitor Centre.

Our cottage, built in 1905, provides comfortable self-catering accommodation in a peaceful setting with beautiful views, making it the ideal place to relax and escape the stresses of everyday life. The cottage has been fully modernised and features underfloor heating throughout the ground floor to keep you warm and cosy.

The inviting sitting room offers comfortable seating, a wood burner, Sky TV and a well-stocked library, while the bright sunroom is perfect for unwinding and enjoying the views of the sea and the Callanish Stones. The well-equipped kitchen includes a heritage-style stove (similar to an AGA Rayburn), along with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, grill, washing machine and tumble dryer, giving you everything you need to prepare meals with ease.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, along with a separate WC and wash-hand basin. Downstairs, you’ll find a further twin bedroom with an en suite, as well as a main bathroom featuring a roll-top bath and a separate walk-in shower.

Our cottage is in a great position, not too far from Stornoway, home to interesting shops and great restaurants. The County Hotel in Stornoway serves fantastic curry and there's also the Harbour Kitchen to enjoy. Dalmore, Dalbeg and Bernera all offer stunning beaches, whilst you can take a scenic boat trip to St.Kilda. History fans can visit the black houses and museums at Gearrannan and Arnol, perfect for finding out about local and social history. Further attractions to visit include:
