Swallows Nest offers luxurious self catering accommodation in the picturesque village of Slaithwaite. Nestled in a gorgeous countryside setting near Huddersfield, our beautifully renovated holiday home is perfect for a peaceful getaway in West Yorkshire.

Accommodation

Our wonderful property is great for a family break or couples retreat, set deep in the unspoilt countryside, home to cows, horses and sheep.

A cosy living room is a great space to unwind in after a day sightseeing. Facilities include a good-sized dining table, a roaring log fire and a TV & DVD player. Rustle up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances for home dining. We also provide a lovely welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk amongst other local produce. A useful utility room houses a sink, washing machine dryer and a WC.

Three bedrooms are available. The master room comes with a good-sized TV, whilst a small double room is also available. An additional single room is ideal for a child or single. All the rooms share a bathroom with a bath and rainfall shower.

Outside there is a covered patio area with a table and chairs for al fresco dining whilst enjoying the gorgeous setting.

Visiting Slaithwaite & Exploring West Yorkshire

The charming village of Slaithwaite is in a great position for exploring the area, near the surrounding villages and towns, including Huddersfield and Marsden. We are close to lots of scenic bike and walking trails, plus lots of outstanding National Trust areas. Children will love the Eureka Children’s Science Museum, whilst the bustling cities of Leeds and Sheffield are great for shopping. Excellent attractions to visit include:

Castle Hill.
Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Colne Valley Museum.
The John Smith's Stadium.
Lawrence Batley Theatre.
