The Anchorage is a detached Devon longhouse that is spacious, stylish and ideal for families or groups of friends. A large gated driveway offers plenty of private off-road parking and leads to a useful porch area perfect for storing shoes and outdoor gear. The heart of the home is a generous bespoke kitchen, ideal for gathering and cooking together, with a separate dining room for relaxed meals or special occasions. There’s a comfortable main living room with TV and DVD, cosy seating spots in the rear hallway and an upstairs snug with a TV and sofa bed, giving everyone space to unwind. Two staircases lead to the first floor, where you’ll find two attractive bedrooms, one with a roomy en-suite bathroom and separate shower. A ground-floor double bedroom, an adjacent bathroom and an additional WC off the utility area provide plenty of facilities for larger groups. Outside, a warm outdoor shower is perfect after beach days and across the driveway a fully enclosed garden with lawn and large patio offers sunloungers, outdoor dining and a Weber BBQ, creating a safe and relaxing space for al fresco meals and laid-back evenings.
Manor Farm Cottage is a charming 16th-century oak-beamed thatched retreat, beautifully refurbished to accommodate up to six guests and surrounded on three sides by secluded gardens. Inside, the front door opens into a small hallway leading to a comfortable lounge and dining area with Freeview TV, from which you access a well-equipped kitchen featuring an eye-level oven, hob, fridge, microwave, breakfast bar, dishwasher and washing machine, along with complimentary Wi-Fi. The main bathroom, with bath, shower and WC, is located off the kitchen, while a ground-floor double bedroom overlooking the western garden provides convenient sleeping space. Upstairs, there is a spacious double bedroom with en-suite shower and WC and a cosy twin room, with linen and towels provided and a cot and high chair available if needed. The gardens can be reached from both the front and rear, and a Weber barbecue is supplied for summer evenings, while well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement.
The Thatched Cottage is a charming 16th-century oak-beamed retreat, thoughtfully refurbished to a high standard and ideal for up to four guests, with a small secluded garden on its eastern side. On the ground floor, the entrance hall leads to a bathroom with bath, shower and WC and through to a well-equipped kitchen featuring an electric cooker, hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. A stable door opens from the kitchen into the garden, where outdoor furniture and a Weber barbecue make summer dining a pleasure. The cosy lounge-diner offers comfortable seating, a Freeview TV, electric fire and night storage heating and complimentary Wi-Fi is included. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both warm and inviting, with linen and towels provided, along with a cot and high chair if needed.
