On the ground floor, the open-plan kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with an electric hob, steamer, oven, grill and microwave, along with a fridge with ice-making compartment, washer dryer and dishwasher. A large dining table comfortably seats ten guests, making it perfect for shared meals. The lounge provides a relaxing space with sumptuous seating, an OLED television with Freeview and DVD player, and a radio. There is also a cloakroom with WC and hand basin. Two ground-floor bedrooms each feature a double bed and en-suite shower room and a small rear courtyard sits just outside. The property also benefits from a large garden and patio area, ideal for outdoor relaxation.
A grand staircase leads to the first floor, where there is a super king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom including both a bath and shower. Another super king bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and leads through to an additional bunk bedroom, sharing the bathroom and making it particularly suitable for children or young adults. Travel cots are welcome by prior arrangement and all fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.
Guests have access to private parking, a small rear patio with garden furniture, WiFi throughout the property and acres of communal grounds to explore, including a large grassed front garden now featuring a hot tub.
The estate is home to an on-site restaurant, The Saddle Room, set within a converted stable yard and known for its award-winning food and excellent wine cellar, offering quality dining for the whole family. Guests are also welcome to explore the wider estate, which extends across more than 500 acres of rural land with a network of public footpaths and bridleways, making it ideal for walking and enjoying the surrounding countryside.
Leyburn is an ideal base for exploring the heart of Wensleydale and the wider Yorkshire Dales. Close by, Aysgarth Falls offer a series of dramatic waterfalls and scenic walking routes, while the charming village of Hawes is home to the famous Wensleydale Creamery and traditional market streets. History lovers can visit Bolton Castle, just a short drive away, or explore the elegant market town of Richmond with its impressive castle and riverside walks. The surrounding countryside offers endless opportunities for walking, cycling and wildlife spotting, making Leyburn an ideal location for discovering the natural beauty and heritage of North Yorkshire.
