Weiroch Lodge is a luxury 18th Century mill conversion set in stunning surroundings on a private Highland Estate. On the banks of the River Spey, between Grantown on Spey and Aberlour, Morayshire, it is a true haven for those wishing to unwind in a peaceful location.

Accommodation


The property is equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday and sleeps up to 6 people with substantial reductions for smaller parties of 4 and 2-guests. A further discount is offered to couples using the ground floor only.

The fully-equipped kitchen/dining room has everything you may need for rustling up some delicious meals. Appliances include a fridge-freezer, 5-burner gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and Stellar cookware. Enjoy dinner around the antique dining table and enjoy views across the Spey valley.

Unwind in the sitting room which features a high vaulted ceiling, toasty wood burner, comfy sofas upholstered in tweed, antique furniture, an extensive collection of books and magnificent trompe l’oeil wall murals. This is the perfect place to relax after a day roaming the countryside.

Three bedrooms are available. Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor with a superking bed that can be made into twin beds by prior arrangement. The room offers amazing views towards the Cromdale Hills and there is an adjoining luxury bathroom. A separate downstairs cloakroom/WC is also available. On the first floor is a twin/super-king room and en suite shower room. A Velux roof light and gable end window offers plenty of light. Bedroom 3 has a 5ft sumptuous bed and a 3ft fold-out bed can be added for a young child. The en suite shower room includes a power shower.

Outside there is a south-facing patio with garden furniture for al fresco dining and large lawned area overlooking spectacular views. Only a short stroll across the fields is the River Spey and access onto the Speyside Way, and you can also explore the 800 acres of forest adjacent to the lodge.

Visiting Ballindalloch & Exploring Morayshire


This part of the country has an abundance of natural scenery and wildlife to enjoy, with lots of walks right on the doorstep and plenty of challenging Munros for hill-walkers to tackle. The River Spey is ideal for fly-fishing and home to some of Scotland’s best salmon and sea trout beats. Golf courses are in the area include Ballindalloch (a few minutes’ drive away), Grantown-on-Spey, Nethy Bridge, Dufftown and the championship courses of Nairn and Royal Dornoch. Speyside is best known for its Malt Whisky Trail with numerous world famous distilleries to visit, some within walking distance of Weiroch Lodge. Attractions to visit include:
