Reviews

‘It is rare to find a place that genuinely feels so loved. We hope anyone who stays here enjoys the experience as much as us.’ - NL, one of our regular guests.

‘Fabulous property with everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Close to many wonderful places of interest (but not too close) and great for enthusiastic walkers and those who like a more leisurely holiday. Hosts were super friendly and helpful.‘ - KB.

Visiting The Gwaun Valley & Exploring Pembrokeshire

In addition to the self-catering cottages, we run a guided walks and tours business and also teach hill and moorland walking skills – such as route planning, navigation, etc. We pride ourselves on providing bespoke walks and tours to suit your interests, the time you have available and your fitness levels. Our focus is North Pembrokeshire but we are happy to offer walks and tours further afield. We offer guests staying at Tregynon Cottages a discounted rate for any of these services. But if you would rather explore on your own: no problem. We can give you plenty of friendly and free advice on where to go and what to see.

Great attractions to visit include:

The Preseli Hills.
Carningli and Foel Drygarn Iron Age Hill Forts.
The award-winning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path
Neolithic burial mounds, Bronze age stone circles and standing stones.
Site of the Last Invasion of Britain
Local opportunities to whale and dolphin watch by boat (seasonal)
Visit the bird reserve islands
And many, many more.
