Stravaigin Lodge offers charming self catering accommodation in Rashfield near Dunoon. Our beautiful Scottish Log cabin in Argyll is a great base for enjoying riverside walks and the surrounding mountains.

Accommodation

Our lovely cabin sleeps up to 6 people and is beautifully furnished to suit all your needs.

The spacious lounge boasts gorgeous views over the valley and comes with a flat-screen TV with Roku TV stick, DVD player, Hi-Fi system, iPod/iPhone/iPad dock and comfy seating. The large kitchen has a dining table for up to 6 people and a range of appliances: cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

Two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom are available. All the bedrooms share a recently upgraded bathroom. Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside there is a large covered veranda with seating. A lovely place for relaxing with a morning coffee. A wooden gate provides good security for young ones and dogs etc.

Visiting Rashfield & Exploring Argyll

We are nestled at the edge of Argyll Forest Park and within walking distance of Benmore Botanical Gardens Lock Eck. If you fancy a bit more adventure the glorious Beinn Mhor is up the road and surrounded by forests, rivers and lochs, perfect for mountain biking, fishing and quad biking. Keen walkers can enjoy Puck’s Glen, a small wooded gorge in the forest behind the lodge. A wonderful riverside walk along Glen Massan is just a few minutes away on foot. A range of excellent attractions are nearby:
