Summary

Birchill Farm and Cottages is set in the heart of the Devon countryside in Langtree, surrounded by gorgeous farming and woodland. Our farm near Torrington has a range of beautifully converted barns, each with thick stone walls and wonderful interiors. We are very family friendly and perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Accommodation

Birchill Farm Cottages have their own private gardens in addition to access to the extensive grounds. The farm is set within eight acres and has a woodland walk leading to a stream and a water meadow. Young children can enjoy a range of outdoor play facilities, including our new gypsy caravan playhouse, tractor shed and ride-in mini tractors. We even have an indoor play plan with a soft play area and new play den with table football and a pool table. Children can come along and join the animal feeding sessions and meet our chickens, ducks and goats, completing a magical time away.

The Granary

Our largest cottage is perfect for two adults with up to four children or two couples with up to two children. The stunning property has a semi-circular lounge converted from the former roundhouse and French doors with open onto a delightful garden area. The cottage comes with a well-equipped kitchen and a fully enclosed garden with a lawn and patio with garden furniture.

Primrose Cottage

This charming cottage ideal for a romantic getaway. Nestled just apart from the other cottages, the cottage enjoys glorious countryside views and comes with a private garden. The large open plan living area comes with breathtaking views from the patio doors. The stylish oak kitchen comes with a dining table for 2.

Bramble Cottage

Our lovely cottage sleeps two adults and two children. The cottage comes with exposed beams, a private garden and charming cottage style living/kitchen area. The main bedroom comes with a king-size bed and the twin bedroom comes with single wooden beds.

Bryony Cottage

This traditional country cottage is perfect for two adults with up to 3 children. A superb double aspect sitting/dining room comes with a painted wooden floor and the spacious master bedroom comes with an en suite bathroom.

Elderberry Cottage

Our single-storey cottage comes with a private garden and is great for two adults with two children. The open plan living room comes with a well-equipped kitchen area. The dining table seats up to four people and a private patio area comes with a table and chairs.

Hazel Cottage

This sympathetically restored cottage comes with a south-facing garden and is ideal for two adults and two children. The family sitting area comes with a quaint inglenook fireplace and electric woodburning stove.

Willow Cottage

Our brilliant single-storey barn conversion comes with a large open plan living area and gorgeous countryside views. The enclosed garden comes with a lawn and patio with garden furniture.

Oak Apple Cottage

This cosy cottage sleeps up top 2 adults and up to 2 children. The cottage is beautifully furnished in a modern style and comes with a private fully enclosed garden. The main bedroom comes with a king-size bed.
