Summary

Ivy Cottage is a charming character detached cottage, dating back some 300 years, is situated in the quiet Peakland hamlet of Aldwark. Our holiday cottage is the perfect base for exploring Derbyshire and the beautiful Peak District National Park. We are also just a short drive from the lovely market town of Matlock.

You enter the cottage through a porch into the hall and to your left is the cosy and comfortable lounge with a wood burning stove, Freesat TV, DVD player, CD plater and beams.

To your right is the well fitted kitchen dining area which has all the equipment you will require for your stay. Facilities include an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Off this room and also on the ground floor is the bathroom, with bath and shower over, hand basin and toilet.

The stairs from the dining area lead to the spacious and open plan gallery area being equipped with two adult sized bunk beds.

The main bedroom is off this gallery area and has a double bed.

Visiting Aldwark & Exploring Derbyshire

There are lovely views across the surrounding countryside, at the same time being close to many of the attractions in the National Park.
