Homestead Barn is a historic Peak District property on the outskirts of Biggin, close to the Tissington Trail, which links with the High Peak Trail and the Pennine Bridleway.
Entry is through a walled courtyard into a spacious hallway with storage for coats and boots, a downstairs cloakroom and a utility area with a washing machine. To the right, a corridor leads to two ground-floor bedrooms that share an en-suite with a walk-in shower. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other contains three single beds.
From the left side of the hall, you enter the kitchen, which is equipped with a range of units, an island with bar seating, two double ovens, a microwave, ceramic hob, larder and freezer fridges, two dishwashers and extensive cookware and tableware. The kitchen opens into a dining area featuring a large table with seating for twenty guests. Adjacent to this is the main entertainment room, complete with a bar area, drinks fridge, ice maker, bar stools, comfortable seating and a television with surround sound.
Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to six en-suite bedrooms. These include rooms with combinations of king-size, double and single beds, some with walk-in showers and others with shower baths, offering flexible accommodation for large groups. The barn is fully equipped with utilities included, free Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels, cots and highchairs on request, hairdryers, ironing facilities and a supply of essentials such as dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials and tea and coffee. The property is smoke-free and dog-friendly by prior arrangement.
Outside, there is ample secure gated parking, large grounds with lawns, patios and seating areas and an EV charger.
Homestead Barn provides an excellent base for exploring the area, with the Tissington Trail visible across the fields and only a short walk away. This extensive network of trails for walkers and cyclists connects to the High Peak Trail and the Pennine Bridleway, offering miles of scenic routes through the Peak District.
