The building dates back to 1760 and now offers homely accommodation for up to 11 people. Upper Court is an ideal base from which to explore Gloucestershire. It is in the village of Kemerton, which lies at the edge of The Cotswolds AONB and just a short drive from Tewkesbury.
About The Coach HouseAn ideal property for families who enjoy having additional space or for larger groups of up to 11. This spacious house is comfortable furnished and well equipped, ensuring you have everything you need during your break away. Facilities and amenities include:
Spacious 30ft living room with two long refectory tables and wood burner.
Well equipped kitchen with Belfast sink and steel range cooker.
King size en suite room with zip & link beds.
Interconnecting family bedroom with double bed and single bed.
Interconnecting double room.
The twin & double room share a family bathroom and the interconnecting rooms have a shared shower room.
Outside is a sheltered courtyard, providing a space where children can play and adults can relax. It is a lovely place to enjoy an aperitif or al fresco dining.
FacilitiesThe Coach House is just one of five properties on site. The accommodation can be let on its own or alongside other properties to suit your requirements. This is ideal for weddings, hen parties, corporate events or large family get togethers. All who stay at Upper Court have access to the following facilities.
Covered swimming pool open from May – September. Please bring your own swimming towels. Children must be with an adult please.
Table tennis room with dartboard. Please bring your own bats, balls and darts.
Croquet - Play Croquet on the main lawn in front of the house – the quintessential way to spend an English summer afternoon. Ask us for mallets and balls (adult equipment only available).

Visiting Kemerton & Exploring GloucestershireKemerton is in the heart of walking country, so pull your boots on and why not take a walk onto Bredon Hill and enjoy the outstanding views over the surrounding ancient landscape. For the energetic the Cotswold Way (102 miles) runs between the market town of Chipping Campden in the north and Bath in the south along the Cotswold escarpment. Whilst the majestic Malverns are within easy reach.
If you want to enjoy the day exploring the area, you will find that there is something that all ages can enjoy. Whether it is a stroll along a riverside, exploring the historic town of Tewkesbury or simply visiting one of the nearby attractions such as Odda’s Chapel or Showborough House Sculpture Garden, there is plenty to see and do.
