Marram Cottage sits in the coastal village of Beadnell, Northumberland, offering a welcoming base for a relaxing break. A gate from the garden leads straight onto the dunes and along a short path to the beach.
The bright sunroom provides a peaceful spot for morning coffee or meals overlooking the patio and dunes, with two comfortable chairs perfect for reading or unwinding. A door leads directly from here into the rear garden. The living room is a cosy and relaxed space, ideal after a long day out; light the wood-burning stove, settle onto one of the large sofas or the armchair and enjoy a book, a film or a favourite series on the Smart TV and DVD player.
The spacious kitchen and dining area is designed for easy home-from-home living and comes well equipped to make cooking and eating together a pleasure. All accommodation is set on one level, with three tastefully furnished bedrooms featuring new beds and quality mattresses. Blackout blinds in each room ensure restful lie-ins. The double bedroom is snug but comfortable, with a pocket-sprung mattress and built-in storage. The twin room has two stylish single beds, a chest of drawers and additional built-in storage. The bunk room features modern bunk beds with deep pocket-sprung mattresses suited to adults and children alike. A small bathroom includes a toilet, corner bath with integrated shower and underfloor heating and a separate cloakroom provides an additional toilet and basin.
Outside, a sheltered south-facing patio sits at the rear of the cottage, catching the sun for most of the day and offering an ideal spot for outdoor dining or relaxing. A wooden table and chairs seat six comfortably, making it perfect for meals or barbecues. A gate in the garden opens directly onto the dunes, where a short sandy path takes you straight to the beach, from the top of the dunes, you can take in wide, uninterrupted views over Beadnell Bay, the harbour, the historic Lime Kilns and further along the coast, the silhouette of Dunstanburgh Castle.
