This cottage combines luxurious furnishings with modern comfort, offering a living room with a smart TV and an Amazon Alexa enabled Sonos speaker that can pair with a second speaker in the kitchen and dining area for immersive sound. The multi-fuel stove comes with a complimentary basket of logs and the dining room features a large table for six, while the spacious kitchen has a breakfast bar seating three for casual meals. There are two double bedrooms and a bunk room suitable for children, with zip-and-link beds in the doubles for flexible sleeping arrangements; the master bedroom includes an en suite with a walk-in shower and the family bathroom serves the guest and bunk rooms with a bath and shower. Located on the edge of Ellingham Estate, the cottage is a haven for wildlife including deer, owls, hares and pheasants. Sliding doors from the dining room lead to a south-facing elevated patio, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living space ideal for BBQs, overlooking a tiered garden full of colour that evokes scenes from ‘The Secret Garden’. The garden is not enclosed, so young children and dogs should be supervised.

Dene Cottage offers a private and peaceful base for exploring Northumberland, with an enclosed gravelled area and seating that enjoys views of the sea and rolling green hills. The open plan sitting and dining room is ideal for socialising, featuring a large table for six, while the kitchen includes a breakfast bar with seating for two. The living area is equipped with a smart TV and an Amazon Alexa-enabled Sonos speaker and the multi-fuel stove comes with complimentary logs. The cottage has two spacious double bedrooms, including one with a zip-and-link super king bed for flexible sleeping arrangements and a bunk room suitable for children. A large bathroom features both a bath and a separate shower. Outside, a small front garden catches the evening sun and a larger grassed area overlooks the tiered gravelled garden sloping down towards the dene.
