Situated in the heart of Bamburgh village in Northumberland, Castle View is a four-star self-catering cottage designed for comfort and relaxation. Accommodating up to three guests, it provides a perfect seaside escape for couples or small families seeking a peaceful and well-located getaway.

The cottage is arranged entirely on one level, making it easy to access throughout. The lounge provides a relaxing space with a comfortable sofa and chairs, along with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, games, and a selection of books for quiet evenings in. A dining table and chairs are also included in this space.

The main bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed and enjoys views across open fields, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The single bedroom is positioned at the rear of the property and looks out towards Bamburgh Castle in the distance.

The bathroom is fitted with both a bath and a shower, as well as underfloor heating for added comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, including a fridge freezer and microwave and also benefits from tiled underfloor heating. A small table and chairs provide an additional dining area within the kitchen.

At the back of the cottage, there is an enclosed patio that acts as a sheltered suntrap with views towards the castle. Garden seating is provided, making it a pleasant spot to relax and take in the surroundings.

Night storage heaters are installed throughout the cottage to ensure warmth during your stay. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a separate utility room. Fresh bed linen, towels, and heating costs are all included.

The cottage is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac where parking is available. A short footpath of around 100 yards leads directly into the centre of the village.

Bamburgh and its surrounding area in Northumberland offer a wealth of places to explore, combining dramatic coastline with rich history. The iconic Bamburgh Castle dominates the skyline and is a must-visit, with its impressive interiors and sweeping sea views. Just a short walk away, Bamburgh Beach provides miles of unspoilt sand backed by dunes, perfect for scenic strolls. Nearby, the Farne Islands are famous for their wildlife, including puffins and seals and can be reached by boat from Seahouses. History lovers can also visit Lindisfarne (Holy Island), known for its priory and castle, accessible via a tidal causeway. A little further afield, the market town of Alnwick offers attractions such as the stunning Alnwick Castle and the beautiful Alnwick Garden, making the area ideal for day trips filled with history, nature, and culture.
