The cottage sleeps up to six guests and enjoys far-reaching views across the Castlereagh and Craigantlet Hills, stretching as far as Scrabo Tower. Designed with accessibility in mind, the property is suitable for elderly guests and those with disabilities, with a ramp leading from the courtyard to the double front doors. All doors, light switches, handles and appliances are accessible for wheelchair and walking-frame users and a welcome pack is provided on arrival.

Accommodation is arranged over two floors, with a cosy first-floor sitting room featuring a television, DVD player and wood-burning stove. On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave, alongside a utility area with a washer dryer. The dining room comfortably seats six guests. The cottage includes three bedrooms, with a ground-floor double en-suite room offering wide door access and a wet room, as well as a twin bedroom and a double bedroom upstairs, both with en-suite facilities and thermostatic showers. All bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside, guests can enjoy a private, enclosed patio area with barbecue facilities, ideal for relaxed outdoor dining. A garden gate opens directly onto surrounding fields, and the fully fenced garden and patio make the property dog friendly. Use of a kennel and run is available by prior arrangement.

We are ideally placed for exploring Belfast, home to Queen's University Belfast, The City Hall, the Waterfront Hall and the newly renovated Albert Clock. Visit Castle Espie Wetland Centre which has Ireland’s largest selection of ducks, geese and swans. You can also enjoy the nature trails and feed the animals at Streamvale Open Farm.
