The Laughing Seagull in North Sunderland provides self-catering accommodation in a former railway cottage. Located in Northumberland, it is just a short walk from the picturesque fishing village of Seahouses and within easy reach of the stunning Northumberland coastline.
The property is tastefully furnished and sleeps up to 4 people, ideal for a group or family getaway.
Inside we have a spacious kitchen/living area with a toasty wood burner for those chilly days. The living area includes comfy seating and a smart TV. You can also unwind in the sun-filled conservatory.
We have 2 bedrooms, a spacious master room with a king-size bed and smart TV, plus a twin room. The rooms share a shower room with a walk-in shower and underfloor heating.
Outside there are front and rear enclosed gardens to enjoy. The rear garden comes with a large table, chairs, outdoor lighting, BBQ and chiminea, offering a great spot for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine. The front lawned garden comes with a bench.
Our cottage is nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is less than miles from the picturesque fishing village of Seahouses. You can visit the coastal villages of Bamburgh and Beadnell, both less than a 15-minute drive away. History fans should visit the majestic Dunstanburgh Castle. Attractions to visit include:

Seahouses Golf Club.
Bamburgh Castle.
The Alnwick Garden.
Warkworth Castle.
