The Ettrick offers charming self catering accommodation in Selkirk, nestled on the gorgeous Haining estate. We are the ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders and only a short stroll to town.

Accommodation

Our elegantly furnished apartment is perfect for a magical getaway in a wonderful location. The apartment is on the upper level of the former stable block and boasts wonderful views over Haining Loch.

The apartment is equipped to a high standard and comes with a modern kitchen including a Nespresso machine. Unwind in the spacious lounge/dining room which comes with a log fire for the winter months, a TV and DVD player.

Two attractive bedrooms are available: a twin and one twin/king room. The bathroom is modern and all linen and towels are provided.

Guests have full access to The Haining grounds, a true haven for nature lovers, with 160 acres to explore.

Visiting Selkirk & Exploring Scottish Borders

We are in a great location, just a gentle 10-to-15-minute walk to the town centre. Selkirk is a historic market town with an interesting selection of shops and restaurants. The area has an abundance of gorgeous scenery to enjoy for walkers and cyclist. For walkers, the Borders Abbey Way passes through the estate, whilst mountain bikers can explore the variety of trails in the local countryside. Horse riding lessons and hacking are available at a range of local stables and The Tweed and The Ettrick rivers are perfect for fishing. Further attractions to visit include:
