Ducks & Drakes offers wonderful self catering accommodation in Chipping Norton. Our properties in Oxfordshire are the perfect place to escape to from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Accommodation

Each property sleeps up to 6 people and they can be used with an interconnecting passage allowing for larger groups of up to 12. Both properties enjoy the benefit of a large outer entrance hall which is part of the property and is ideal for drying off dogs and dealing with muddy boots etc. Our properties are spread over six acres of lovely grounds.

The Drakes unit is slightly larger than the Ducks and is ideal for families. This property sleeps up to four people but can go up to six using a futon in the living room. Access to the bathroom is through the main bedroom which is suitable for children but not for two couples. The Ducks unit is slightly smaller but ideal for two couples. The bathroom suite is separate and there is a futon.

The Drakes kitchen is large, well equipped and comes with a 4 ring cooker and oven, microwave, cooker and a fridge freezer. The Ducks kitchen has recently been upgraded and has a 4 ring cooker with a small oven, microwave and a fridge with a freezer section. Both properties have the usual range of cooking utensils crockery etc. A small welcome pack plus sheets and towels will be provided.

Kiln House has chickens and ducks which are available to view by prior arrangement with the owners. Organic free range eggs are available to purchase.

Visiting Chipping Norton and exploring Oxfordshire

Chipping Norton is a bustling market town occupying the highest point of Oxfordshire. It is located around 18 miles northwest of Oxford in the Cotswold Hills. Chipping Norton, also called “Chippy” is a lively town with a variety of festivals around the year such as the well known Chipping Norton Literary Festival. The events and festivals mostly take place in the medieval market place which is situated in the heart of the town. Here you can also find the Town Hall, the Guildhall as well as the Chipping Norton Theatre. A range of excellent attractions are nearby:

The Chipping Norton Theatre.
Heythrop Zoological Gardens.
Chastleton House and Garden.
Station Mill Antiques Centre.
