Littlegood Lodge is a converted barn set apart from the main farmhouse and surrounded by open countryside and farmland. Its rural setting offers peace and privacy while still being conveniently located just three miles from Banbury, with easy access to the M40, as well as local train and bus links.
The lounge and dining area provide comfortable furniture, a dining table, a TV, a DVD player and a small selection of books, toys and board games. The fully fitted kitchen includes an electric cooker with gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, a combined washing machine and dryer and a full-size fridge freezer. Crockery, utensils, an iron and an ironing board are also supplied. The bathroom contains a shower, washbasin and toilet. The first bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second offers twin beds. Outside, an enclosed grass area includes patio furniture and a barbecue.
Bed linen and towels are provided and included in the rental price, as are heating and electricity. The lodge is warmed by a multi-fuel stove and central heating, and a basket of kindling is supplied for the first fire, with a fire guard available on request. Wi-Fi is included and smoke detectors connected to the mains supply are fitted throughout the property for safety.
Littlegood Farm is situated between the villages of Great and Little Bourton, with a range of amenities close by, including shops in nearby Cropredy and a large shopping centre in Banbury. Banbury also offers cultural attractions such as Banbury Museum and the historic Broughton Castle. The area is well suited to those who enjoy an active break, with opportunities for swimming, walking, cycling and golf. Oxfordshire’s wider landscape is filled with charming villages, peaceful meadows and a variety of places to explore. Walkers can head to the Chiltern Hills for scenic trails, visit Henley to watch world-class rowing or spend a day discovering the impressive palace and grounds at Blenheim.
