The cottage boasts an open-plan design while maintaining a cosy, traditional atmosphere with exposed original stonework. The staircase splits to lead to a double bedroom on one side and a twin bedroom on the other, each featuring an en-suite bathroom with large rose-head showers and oil-fired central heating.

In the sitting area, you'll find a grand oak lintel fireplace with a wood-burning stove. The kitchen and dining areas, separated from the sitting room by the staircase, are spacious and well-equipped, featuring handmade cabinetry with granite countertops and under-floor heating throughout the tiled ground floor.

Originally part of an 18th-century byre and granary, West Cottage has been meticulously converted into a warm, inviting holiday home, perfect for a tranquil escape. Enjoy seasonal produce from the garden, free-range eggs and Dexter beef from the farm, or unleash your creativity in the owner's art studio just steps away.

The ground floor, tastefully presented in a contemporary country cottage style, is snug with underfloor heating. The space features a large oak lintel fireplace and original exposed stonework, adding character and charm. The open-plan layout benefits from two large glazed doorways that allow sunlight to flood in, or can be opened in summer to enjoy the fresh country air.

West Cottage is also ideal for special celebrations, events and corporate groups, offering everything from informal suppers and summer barbecues to workshops in art, cookery, flower arranging and even blacksmithing.

Committed to environmental friendliness, West Cottage utilises renewable energy, composting, home-grown food, supports local producers and has planted one hundred trees.
