April Cottage offers charming self catering accommodation in Middleton near Belford. Located in a glorious setting in Northumberland, we boast stunning views towards the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.
AccommodationOur wonderful cottage sleeps up to 5 people and is luxuriously furnished throughout.
The sitting room comes with a gorgeous ceiling fireplace with a wood burner, Smart TV and DVD player. A well-equipped shaker style kitchen has solid oak worktops and a Belfast sink, dishwasher, microwave, Smeg double oven, induction hob and retro fridge/freezer. A large farmhouse style table is perfect for dining around. A Miele washing machine and separate Miele dryer are provided in a cupboard off the hallway. On the ground floor, there is a single room which enjoys views of the garden and countryside. A shower room comes with a double shower and a grab handle, basin and WC.
On the first floor, there is a bedroom with twin beds and an adjoining cloakroom with a WC and basin. The master room comes with a king size bed and modern en suite facilities.
Outside there is an enclosed garden with a lawn and patio. Outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ are provided. Ideal for dining al fresco in the evening sun. A log cabin in the garden comes with a games room with a pool table, table tennis table, table football and a dartboard.
Visiting Middleton & Exploring NorthumberlandWe are only a mile from the pretty village of Belford where you will find a small co-op supermarket, two pubs, a hotel bar and restaurant. The fabulous Sunnyhills Farm Shop sits just on the edge of the village offers fresh local produce in the food hall and delicious cakes and pastries in the super cafe bistro. A range of excellent attractions are in the local area:
