Hope Cottages consist of two self-catering holiday homes situated right beside Filey beach in East Yorkshire. Once a small fishing village, Filey flourished during the Edwardian era into a charming seaside resort. Unlike many other destinations along the Yorkshire coast, it has retained its unspoiled character, with limited seafront development that preserves a peaceful and refined atmosphere.

Downstairs, the living and dining room offers stunning full sea views, with a dining table positioned by the window to seat four and two comfortable sofas providing space for up to six guests. The fitted kitchen is well-equipped for all your self-catering needs. Upstairs, the master bedroom features a king-size bed and an ensuite shower room, with uninterrupted sea views that can even be enjoyed while lying in bed. The second bedroom includes a double bed and overlooks the Brigg and Coble Landing, while the third bedroom is furnished with bunk beds. A family bathroom completes the upper floor.

Downstairs, the living room offers beautiful full sea views, with a table set by the window for four and two comfortable sofas providing seating for five. The fitted kitchen includes a dining table with four chairs and is fully equipped with all the essentials, including a fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. A downstairs bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite shower room adds convenience and makes this cottage ideal for families or groups, offering a total of three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Upstairs, the master bedroom features a king-size bed, lovely views towards the Brigg and Coble Landing and its own ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has two single beds, with a family bathroom located nearby for added comfort.

There is plenty to do on your doorstep, walking and playing on the beach or swimming in the sea, ideal for the traditional family beach holiday. Filey Coble Landing, where the fishing fleet and lifeboat are kept and launched, is a few hundred yards away. A short walk along the beach takes you to the rockpools of Filey Brigg which is famous for its angling. Filey is a mecca for bird watchers and has its own reserve. Filey is also close to Whitby, Scarborough, The North York Moors and Flamborough Head.
