Mallard Barn at Wheatacre Hall Barns offers luxurious self catering accommodation in a beautiful part of Norfolk, under wide arching skies amongst farmland and hidden waterways outside of Beccles near Lowestoft. Our holiday home is situated on a working dairy and arable farm in the beautiful, peaceful rural Waveney Valley adjoining the southern tip of the Norfolk Broads yet close to the wonderful, historic city of Norwich.

Accommodation

Our wonderful barn conversion is our largest property and stills retain many of its original features, including fine beams. The barn has been tastefully restored with very comfortable interiors with many modern luxury touches. This barn is all on ground level with ramps available for ease of entry.

Three attractive bedrooms are available: a double en suite, double room with a zip and link bed and a bedroom with 3 singles. A bathroom comes with a bath, separate shower cubicle and WC.

Many fantastic sandy beaches and attractions can be found a short distance from Wheatacre Hall Barns making this a great place to base your visit in your discovery of Norfolk and Suffolk. The whole family will love Africa Alive, one of the UK’s largest and most thrilling wildlife attractions. 45 minutes away by car is BeWILDerwood, an award-winning adventure park with amazing treehouses and zip wires. Caldecott Hall offers lots of facilities, as well as an 18 hole golf course. Nearby attractions include:
