Earsham Park Farm
Earsham, Bungay, Suffolk
Earsham Park Farm is a large Victorian farmhouse just outside of Earsham. It is 2.5 miles from the Suffolk town of Bungay. The farmhouse is set in the middle of a working farm and offers two self catering holiday homes that are an ideal base for those who seek a countryside break.
The Pig Sty & The Dog HouseBoth self catering apartments are light, spacious and enjoy superb views overlooking the surrounding countryside. They benefit from having zip link beds, allowing each holiday home to have the bedrooms set up as a double or a twin, depending on what is required. The apartments include a seating area, shower room with large walk in shower and a kitchen/diner. The kitchen has a microwave, toaster, kettle, gas cooker, washer/dryer and a wide range of other kitchen equipment.
Guests are more than welcome to enjoy the acre of gardens that surround the apartments. Each apartment has its own secluded seating area with a pair of chairs and a table.
The gardens are large and well kept with lots of interesting plants. Guests are welcome to make use of the gardens, the sitting areas and lawns. If they feel so inclined they can also do a bit of weeding! As the house stands in the middle of a farm, there are lovely walks around the tracks straight from the front door. A map and talk round are included in both properties.
The farm is worked with great consideration to the wildlife and there are some fabulous walks. Our outdoor pig herd (of which we are very proud) is high welfare. Coming up to the strictest standards for RSPCA Freedom food approval. Trips around the pigs can often be arranged.
Visiting Earsham & Exploring SuffolkBoth of the apartments have enjoyable views overlooking the Waveney Valley and surrounding Suffolk countryside. The farm is situated on the main Suffolk cycle route and there are lots of fantastic walks in the surrounding area. We can also offer a secure lock up for your bike and any wet clothes. There are lots of local good food restaurants and takeaways (some do delivery). There is a supermarket big enough for most things in Bungay (3miles) as well as the usual range of shops.
