Simonsbath, Minehead, Somerset, Exmoor National Park
Woolchamber Cottages are set in the splendour of the Barle Valley, within the grounds of the Simonsbath Hotel. Simonsbath House stood alone for over 150 years before the small hamlet developed in the 19th Century, with the local Church, St Lukes, built in 1856, presiding over the largest Parish in Somerset 56 square miles but with only 75 houses. Simonsbath is set in the heart of what the locals refer to as Exmoor Proper.
About The CottagesThe cottages are converted from the 300-year-old 'Woolchamber Barn' and all are fully centrally heated and furnished to a high standard. They feature comfortable living rooms, kitchens and additional gallery areas which give a feeling of extra space and offers additional sleeping accommodation if required.
The Woolchamber Cottages are three self catering cottages adjoining the Simonsbath House Hotel, each having their own external entrance. Although the cottages are completely self-contained the hotel restaurant and bar may be used by guests in the evening and for breakfast by prior arrangement.
We have recently added a fourth cottage (Teasels) which sleeps 4 people (either twin or double). This cottage has a connecting door to one of our hotel rooms creating the possibility of accommodation for 4 people with 2 bathrooms.
All cottages include:
Fully fitted and equipped kitchen areas.

The cottages are available on the day of your arrival from 4pm.
The cottages are available on a weekly basis - usually Saturday to Saturday although this can be varied according to the time of year.
