Accommodation

Our cottage is over 160 years old and features original exposed pine woodwork and floorboards, plus two real fires for those chilly days. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people and a welcome pack is provided.

Inside we have a living room with comfy seating and a TV. The kitchen is well-equipped with a range of appliances: cooker, fridge, kettle and toaster. The large dining room seats up to 6 people.

Bedrooms consist of a double and twin room. The twin can be made as a double and the double room comes with a hair dryer. All bed linen and towels are included.

Outside we have a small courtyard with seating for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine.

Visiting Great Eccleston & Exploring Lancashire

We are within walking distance of two traditional pubs, serving a range of cask ales. The village also has a fish bar and two gastro pubs. You can visit a continental-style cafe that offers afternoon teas and homemade cream scones, plus a range of shops including a grocer, off-license, artisan bakers and butchers. Attractions to visit include:
