Rowan cottage is conviently situated in the heart of the island of Mull within the village of Salen which makes the cottage an excellent place from which to see Mull`s unspoilt scenery and heritage and to explore its exciting diversity of wildlife, both on and off shore.
The comfortable cosy sitting room includes Satellite free to air TV, CD player and a DVD player for your enjoyment and relaxation, whilst the open fire which will also run the central heating system and hot water is ideal for the colder evenings in the year. However if you choose not to use the fire, heaters are provided within all the rooms and an immerser is available for your hot water. Coal can be ordered in advance should you wish to use the fire or can be bought from the shops.
The dining kitchen comes fully fitted and equipped with all mod cons and facilities for you to create your favourite meals including, oven/hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine kettle, toaster and coffee maker and is extremely well equipped with crockery and utensils.
Both bedrooms are on the upper floor. Bedroom one contains the double divan bed along with a double wardrobe, bedside drawers and dressing table with two sets of drawers. A hairdryer is supplied for your convenience.
Bedroom two contains 2 single divan beds, bedside drawers, wardrobe, dressing table and drawers.
The Isle of Mull is situated on the west coast of Scotland and forms part of the inner Hebrides
Its a 2 1/2 hour drive from Glasgow with an opportunity to enjoy some spectacular Scottish scenery including the famous Loch Lomond and and its surrounding mountains.
Rates: £320 to £450 per week depending on season.
Maximum of 4 people. Children are welcome.
