Sheiling Holiday Cottages sit on a stunning shoreline, offering breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding mountains, with uninterrupted vistas stretching up the Sound of Mull and down Loch Linnhe all the way to Ben Nevis. Forestry trails and coastal walks are close by, making it a perfect spot for you, your family and your dog to explore and enjoy.
Set side by side, Nevis Cottage is the larger home on the right, with Cruachan Cottage to the left. Dating from the 1980s, both cottages are designed in a classic “but-and-ben” style that sits comfortably within the natural surroundings and reflects the character of the area. Facing the sea, there’s a private outdoor space where you can unwind and soak up sweeping views toward Ben Nevis, all in a setting known for its stillness and fresh coastal air. There is plenty of wildlife to spot, as otters are sometimes seen from the windows, seals gather along the nearby shoreline and dolphins occasionally appear, gliding through the water beside the passing ferry.
Nevis Cottage accommodates up to four guests, featuring a generous double bedroom with a standard double bed and an additional double sofa bed suitable for occasional use in the spacious open-plan living area. The cottage includes a combined lounge, dining and kitchen space equipped with a TV and music system, along with a walk-in shower, gas central heating and complimentary Wi-Fi. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the essentials needed for a comfortable, self-catering stay and a cot and high chair are available on request at no extra cost, subject to availability.
Cruachan Cottage is the smaller, snug option and can accommodate up to four guests, offering a compact double bedroom with a standard double bed alongside a small twin room with two standard single beds. Inside, you’ll find a shower room and an open-plan kitchen and living space with comfortable seating, a dining table for four, a TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. The cottage is heated by storage and panel heaters and the kitchen is fully fitted with all the essentials for a relaxed self-catering stay. A cot and high chair can also be provided free of charge on request, subject to availability.
