Lochdean Cottage provides fantastic self catering accommodation in Lochranza, nestled on the magical island of the Isle of Arran. We boast stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Lochranza Bay, ideal for an idyllic break.

Accommodation

Our beautifully renovated cottage has been finished to a high standard to provide a relaxing and comfortable stay. The well-equipped cottage sleeps up to 4 people.

This cosy cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway or family holiday and is a great base for exploring the island. A relaxing lounge comes with comfy seating, a smart TV with Netflix, unlimited broadband and various books & board games. The well-equipped kitchen comes with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, toaster and wood fuel stove.

Two comfy bedrooms are available: a master and a twin room. The master room comes with a TV with Netflix. All bed linen and towels are included. A bathroom includes a bath with electric shower.

Outside there is a delightful semi wild garden with a south-facing patio area and garden furniture. A lovely place for a glass of wine while admiring the wildlife and views. The moors and hills are accessed directly to the rear of the cottage.

Visiting Lochranza & Exploring the Isle of Arran

Lochranza is a charming village in the North end of Arrran, set in a gorgeous bay which is a sea loch. The centre of the village houses a majestic 13th Century castle. You’ll also be able to see an abundance of wildlife in the area. Above the beach you can often see grey seals, porpoises, basking sharks and the occasional dolphin. The area has a brilliant range of hill and coastal walking routes, whilst bike hire is available in Brodick. Excellent attractions to visit include:

Lochranza whisky distillery.
Lochranza Golf course.
Boat trip from Lamlash to Holy Island & visiting the monastery.
Arran Heritage Museum.
Brodick castle.
