Westwood in Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, provides glorious self catering accommodation in a spectacular location. Situated on the northern end of the island, the property enjoys wonderful views over Kilbrannan Sound to Kintyre in Argyll and to the Island of Bute and Loch Fyne beyond, ensuring you have an unforgettable holiday experience.

Accommodation

Our superb holiday home sleeps up to 9 people over 5 bedrooms. The bedrooms consist of 2 king size rooms (1 is an en suite), 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single room. There is also family bathroom with a separate enclosed shower.

The comfortable and relaxing living room consists of a flat screen TV and DVD player, dining room with large table and wood burner. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with a range of excellent appliances.

Outside guests can relax and unwind in the front and back garden. The latter has outside seating and a BBQ, the perfect place for a spot of al fresco dining.

The Isle of Arran caters to everyone - both young and old, those who want activities and adventure and those who want to do nothing except marvel at the exceptional scenery.Your perfect holiday awaits. For those looking for a little something to do during their stay, we can recommend the following activities: Golf - with 7 golf courses on the island and a driving range you are spoilt for choice. There is also hill walking. Arran’s tallest mountain is Goatfell at 2866ft (874mtrs) this is one of the 4 Corbetts on the island and a good family day out. Take your pick from challenging long walks or forest trails or coastal walks. Try the Arran Coastal Way, or just parts of it - please refer to the walking books we've left in the holiday rental for more information. Cycling is p roving to be very popular; there are a number of off road tracks for mountain bikes which can be hired on the island.
