Higher Churchtown Farm offers self catering accommodation in the village of Tresmeer. Our four beautifully converted barns are in a countryside setting and have spectacular views reaching to Dartmoor. We are a great holiday day destination for friends and family looking to relax in a peaceful setting and only 6 miles to Launceston, the ancient capital of Cornwall.

Our four beautifully furnished barns are spacious and come with many original features: including vaulted ceilings, exposed stone walls and beams. All of the properties have oak furniture, underfloor heating and heated towel rails in most bathrooms.

Kettle's On is a detached single-storey barn with its own rear garden, whilst the other properties have their own small patio and shared use of a large garden area with an 18ft circular above-ground swimming pool (summer only). There is an additional ½-acre games field which is perfect for children to play in. Inside all the barns we provide a range of reading material, games, puzzles, DVDs and a 42’’ TV. The largest of the barns also houses a games room with a pool table, darts and board games, great for the whole family.

This barn is accessed from the courtyard. A four-poster room comes with en suite facilities and there are two double rooms, including one with en suite facilities. A twin room comes with oak beds and there is a separate WC. On the first floor, there is a living/dining room and an open plan kitchen with an electric range cooker and Juliette balcony overlooking the courtyard. Three steps down lead to a utility/hall. A further four-poster room has French doors which open onto the patio/barbecue areas. A bathroom comes with a shower attachment and WC and the attic bedroom has twin beds and a Velux window. Two Z-beds are available.

Our barn is accessed from the courtyard and has a double bed and a bathroom which a freestanding claw bath and WC. From the hall, up two steps there is a twin room. Two steps down from the hall lead to a further double en suite bedroom. On the first floor is a living/dining room and an open plan kitchen.

This barn is accessed from the courtyard and has two double bedrooms, each with patio doors. One has access to the twin room. A bathroom has a free-standing claw bath and WC. On the first floor is a large living/dining room with a Juliette balcony overlooking the courtyard with magical views of Dartmoor. There is an open plan kitchen and a twin room and a separate shower room.

Our ground level, detached barn has a large living/dining room with French doors and a kitchen area. The double bedroom comes with en suite facilities and the twin en suite room has a glazed door to the garden.

We are in an ideal location for exploring the local area. We are only 10 miles from the North Cornish Coast and near a variety of attractions. You can surf, walk along the coastal path, play golf, fish, cycle or simply relax. A shop is only 3 miles away and a pub and restaurant are 4 miles away. Further attractions to visit include:
