Summary

Set on the shores of Loch Lochy, Black Sheep Cabins enjoy far-reaching views across the water, with easy access to a quiet pebble beach just moments away. The surrounding landscape is framed by rolling glens and dense evergreen forests, which are especially striking in winter when covered in snow. These secluded self-catering cabins offer a peaceful retreat, ideal for relaxing and soaking up the dramatic beauty of the Highlands.

Each cabin is inspired by the Highlands, thoughtfully furnished and features outdoor patios, spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas, bedrooms with en suite facilities and separate baths, as well as an electric fireplace for cosy evenings. Choose from two bedroom and three bedroom cabins sleeping 4-6 people.

Ideally located just a short drive from Fort William, the cabins are a great base for touring the Highlands. Guests can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities through Black Sheep Hotels, as well as delicious dining and relaxing spa treatments at The Whispering Pine Lodge. It is the perfect place to enjoy fresh mountain air and spend quality time with family, friends or someone special, all while surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

Dining options are varied and memorable, including The Lochside Brasserie, a waterfront restaurant serving fresh seafood and dishes to suit all tastes, Burns Bar, which offers a warm and traditional setting with a crackling fire and a fine selection of whiskies, and the Lochview Bar & Grill, where guests can enjoy wood-fired pizzas, small plates and expertly crafted cocktails on the outdoor patio.

Guests can enjoy a range of activities designed for both relaxation and fun, with options to suit all ages. Indoor entertainment includes a selection of classic games such as board games, table tennis and foosball, while those seeking something a little different can take part in traditional Highland pursuits like axe throwing and spear throwing, adding a unique and memorable twist to their stay.

The nearby lochs and rivers offer a peaceful setting for fishing and boating, ideal for both seasoned anglers and beginners alike. Whether you prefer to explore at your own pace or would like expert guidance, experienced local ghillies are available to enhance the experience and help you make the most of the surrounding waters.

For guests who enjoy the outdoors, a network of scenic walking routes provides plenty of opportunity to explore the Highland landscape. From gentle woodland walks to more challenging trails, visitors can take in serene lochs, wander through pine forests and breathe in the crisp, fresh air while discovering the natural beauty that surrounds the area.
