Seaside Beag is a detached one-bedroom cottage, located just a few yards from the shoreline and offering uninterrupted views across the bay to the hills and mountains of the mainland. Though the cottage feels secluded, it's only a short walk from local amenities, including several pubs, restaurants and a supermarket.
On the ground floor, the entrance porch leads into a hallway with a downstairs toilet and a utility cupboard housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. From here, you'll step into the spacious open-plan living area, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame spectacular sea views. The cosy seating area is perfect for wildlife watching, you might even spot wading birds or an otter playing on the rocks or venturing into the garden. For relaxing evenings, there's a wood-burning stove, a 32” TV with DVD player and a selection of books and maps to help you explore the island.
The modern kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’ll need for a self-catered stay, including a twin oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A staircase from the lounge leads to the first floor, where you’ll find a spacious bedroom featuring a king-size bed, ample storage, a TV and more stunning sea views. The en-suite bathroom includes a double-ended bath with a powerful over-bath shower, underfloor heating and all bedding and towels are provided.
Seaside Beag is designed for year-round comfort, with underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and in the bathroom, along with all fuel and logs for the stove included in your stay. Although located within the grounds of the owners’ main house, the cottage has its own private parking area and enclosed garden, with no overlooking windows to ensure complete privacy.
