Number Nine is a spacious and comfortable, family-friendly self-catering holiday home near Aviemore, set within the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands. Located on the edge of the forest in a quiet cul-de-sac in the scenic village of Carrbridge, our family home provides a peaceful base for exploring the surrounding countryside.
Inside, the cosy sitting room features an open fire, with a complimentary basket of logs provided and offers a Smart TV with Chromecast, DVD player, along with a selection of games, books, maps and DVDs. A fireguard is available on request. The modern kitchen is well equipped and includes a large dining table seating six, a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, George Foreman grill, dishwasher, large fridge, upright freezer, washing machine and cafetiere. There is also a utility room with a clothes pulley, ideal for drying outdoor gear after a day of adventure.
The accommodation comprises a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, a single child’s bedroom and two further single bedrooms. The main bathroom includes both a bath and shower. Bed linen and towels are provided, with additional fleece blankets and duvets available in each bedroom. The property also includes WiFi, ample storage for jackets and outdoor wear, a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, high chair and essential household items such as dishcloths, hand soap, toilet rolls, washing-up liquid and dishwasher tablets.
Outside, there is a front garden and a fully enclosed rear garden laid with gravel and raised heather beds, offering a safe space for families, although there is no lawn. Parking is available for up to three cars, and electricity and gas are included. For added safety, the house is equipped with a fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid kit.
Carrbridge is a delightful Highland village with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. The village is home to the historic Carrbridge Packhorse Bridge, the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands and the family-friendly Landmark Forest Adventure Park. Just a short drive away, Aviemore offers outdoor activities year-round, while the stunning landscapes of Cairngorms National Park provide opportunities for walking, cycling, wildlife watching and winter sports. With ancient forests, scenic lochs and mountain views all close by, Carrbridge is an excellent base for exploring the Scottish Highlands.
