Summary

The Rings enables holidays for all. Here you will find a self-catering cottage, cabins and wilderness camping along with Bisset's Barn, an inclusive & accessible farm experience & play.

The Cottage

Our cottage comfortably hosts family gatherings or groups of up to 16 people. Featuring a flexible design, the wall separating the two main living areas can be adjusted to create a single, expansive open plan space. The layout of the house is customisable, allowing smaller groups to reserve only the space they need. All areas are accessible on one level, with wheelchair-friendly corridors and doors. We provide ceiling track hoists in three of the ensuite bedrooms, which connect to wet rooms equipped with baths. The interior design considers sensory impairments and soundproofed walls guarantee a tranquil environment.

Cabins

Our cabins provide a secure and serene retreat, allowing guests to enjoy a cost-effective countryside holiday. Our six newly constructed cabins go beyond typical glamping pods, offering bespoke designs with breathtaking countryside views. Each cabin has been crafted for adaptability to meet your specific needs. Cabins 1 through 4 feature lockable kitchens and bathrooms to ensure security and privacy. Cabins 5 and 6 are designed with open-plan kitchens, accommodating profile beds and wheelchair access, enhancing the spacious feel. Every cabin includes a wet room with an externally controllable shower for added convenience. The bedding configurations are flexible: Cabins 1, 3, 4, and 5 offer beds that can be set up as twin singles or joined to form a king-sized bed. Cabin 2 boasts a plush sofa bed that extends into a king-size, and Cabin 6 features adjustable beds for additional comfort. Cabin 5 can also accommodate a profile bed, and if needed, two profile beds can be arranged in Cabin 5 when booked alongside a connecting link room. Additionally, a safe space bed is available and can be set up in the link room for extra security and comfort.

Customer Review

“We have just returned from a New Year break at The Rings and were absolutely delighted with the house. Every facility there, including plenty of toiletries and dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee etc. Beautiful views over the countryside from glass floor to ceiling windows and such comfy beds. Moira went out of her way to be sure we were all comfortable and was easily on hand should you have ever needed anything. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Already booked to go back.” Alison B

“Fantastic accommodation, everything 5 star. Stayed with Work this week at short notice could not have been better. Moira is lovely and very welcoming.” Malcolm H

“Hi Moira. We have just returned home after having spent a fantastic week at your "Home from the Home at The Rings". We had THE BEST time ever celebrating Mum & Dads forthcoming 65th Wedding Anniversary. My brother & his wife (from Winchester) as well as my parents & myself were able to enjoy the pleasures of your fully, special assessable home! We invited lots of the family over every day & every evening to visit and what a wonderful setting for us all to enjoy! It did of course help that we had the best weeks weather I think we have had this year so far! You have thought of everything possible to have in your home to make our stay just fantastic Moira. Although this was the first we've every met you, you go out of your way to make it a magical stay for all. We feel we have made a friend in you & David. We wish you all the best for the future & would defiantly recommend The Rings to everyone! Thank you so much for the lovely facilities & setting. We all wish you the very best. To anyone reading this & booking, have a great time. I know you will love it.” Irene J

“Just home after a wonderful stay at The Rings and we absolutely loved it! What an amazing home in a gorgeous, peaceful location. It truly is a stunning spot in this part of the world. Moira and David made us feel so welcome and it's clear to see the love and hard work that has gone into creating a truly innovative home. Moiras attention to detail can be seen throughout. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back! Thankyou for a fantastic stay! X” Kellie G

“Absolutely brilliant. We spent 2 nights there and it was the most peaceful holiday we’ve had with our boy. He has autism and is very active and noisy. We spend a lot of time steering him away from things he’s not allowed. At The Rings we noticed almost immediately that he was quieter than usual and over the weekend this just improved. On the first afternoon he was so calm that we were able to have a few hours where we could just sit and read, this hasn’t happened in years. I am sure that this was enabled by the clever designing of the accommodation, calm, relaxing colours, minimum amount of pictures, ornaments etc. It was designed with my boy in mind. Moira was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly be going back next year and would recommend The Rings to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday with anyone with special needs.” Ann
