Shorepark Holiday Cottage is a luxury holiday home, located in a pretty part of Dumfries and Galloway just a stoneís throw from the River Nith. Our holiday home sleeps 6 and is a short drive from Dumfries at the edge of Glencaple Village.
About Shorepark Holiday CottageOur holiday home really is a wonderful retreat for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of busy city live. From the house the views are spectacular, watch the wildlife on the river or simply enjoy the view at different times of day, all of which can be enjoyed from the comfort of the living room.
The property is on one floor but does have steps at the entrances and to one of the bedrooms and the halls are narrow. Accommodation consists of one en suite shower double bedroom, one twin/super king bedroom and a further double bedroom. There is also a second bathroom with a bath/shower. The lounge area and kitchen are open plan with a dining area which can be open or section off by sliding doors.

Well equipped kitchen including dish washer, fridge/freezer, double oven, ceramic hob, kettle, toaster etc.
All bedrooms and the lounge have flat screen Panasonic 40 inch Freesat Smart TVs and access to free Wi-Fi and Netflix.

Local AreaGlencaple Village has been designated a National Scenic Area and is a great place to stay for those who want a relaxing break away. There are plenty of walks in the surrounding area that all ages can enjoy and plenty of attractions in Dumfries and Galloway to visit. Attracions include Caerlaverock Castle, WWT Wetland Centre Caerlaverock, Sweetheart Abbey, Dumfries Museum, Threave Castle and much more. Alternately when not take to one of the longest zip wires in the country!
