Highfield is a holiday cottage with three bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 people, ideal for families or groups of friends. Highfield can sleep up to 8 people and there is a bed settee in the sitting room if you need more than 3 bedrooms.
Highfield holiday cottage private garden. Accommodation comprises of a pleasant sitting room looking out to the sea, comfortably furnished and with television and DVD player. The kitchen/dining room has a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine/tumbler drier.
Two large bedrooms (one double with baby’s cot, one with 4 single beds),one smaller room with single/double convertible bed, a bathroom and additional small cloakroom complete this holiday bungalow. Well-behaved dogs are allowed, but not on the furniture or in the bedrooms.
Heating is provided by night storage heaters with additional electric and calor gas heaters, and hot water is provided by an immersion heater.
Bedding is provided, but guests are required to bring their own towels. A full cleaning and laundry service are provided in the rental.
Rental charges include electricity, gas, laundry and cleaning at the end of each let.
The beach is a 5-minute walk away. Bigbury-on-Sea is a seaside village tucked away at the most southerly part of the South Hams. Situated between Plymouth (15 miles to the west) and Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe to the south and east and Dartmoor to the north.
Bigbury-on-Sea boasts one of the best sandy beaches in Devon, with life guard cover in the season. It has rock pools you can explore and is great for swimming, windsurfing, walking and bird watching. Highfield holiday cottage is approximately 4 hours from London, 3.5 from Birmingham and 2 hours from Bristol, with easy access via M5 and A38. The beach is a 5-minute walk away from the holiday cottage. The beach is ideal for children of all ages. Burgh Island lies a few hundred yards along the beach – an island at high tide.
