Visiting Hartsop & Exploring CumbriaThe holiday cottage is centrally positioned in the Lake District and in easy reach of Windermere, Ambleside, Keswick and Penrith. Patterdale, Glenridding and Ullswater (2 -3 miles) offer a wide variety of activities, including steamer cruises, sailing, boat hire, fishing and cycle-hire. Golf, horse riding and quad-biking are also available in the area.
Whatever your interests and however you wish to spend your holiday time, Hartsop provides an excellent location to relax and unwind. Walkers, birdwatchers, and other countryside lovers have found the area particularly appealing, and Mill Cottage offers peace and quiet in pleasant and comfortable surroundings.
