Summary

The Hayloft is nestled within the stunning Eden Valley, a hidden gem in the Lake District, and is part of the grounds of a Grade II listed Georgian Manor House.

As you step into the Hayloft, you're greeted by a bright terracotta-tiled entrance hall through double glass doors. The hall is equipped with plenty of brass pegs to hang your coats and a slatted bench for comfortably donning or removing your hiking boots after a long day. An adjoining utility room comes complete with a toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer. In a cupboard beneath the stairs, you'll find rackets and tennis balls for the Wimbledon enthusiasts among you.

Venturing upstairs, you'll discover a spacious, beautifully beamed living area. The kitchen is excellently outfitted, featuring a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, cooker, and all the utensils you might need for your stay, even including a cake tin. A pair of bar stools at the dining side of the work unit allow for a communal cooking or watching experience. The centre of this open-plan room is occupied by a large extendable dining table, surrounded by dining chairs. At the end of this layout is a woodburner, thoughtfully pre-lit for your arrival and it's encircled by comfy sofas and a low coffee table. Modern amenities include a flat screen TV with a DVD player and an iPod dock with a CD player. Super-fast fibre broadband Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the Hayloft.

Continuing through a snug area and down a beamed corridor, you'll find two double bedrooms. Both feature super-king beds that can be converted into twins, ensuring the utmost comfort. The chequer-floored bathrooms adjoining these bedrooms are stocked with fresh white towels, one with a shower and the other with a bath.

For your leisure, a fully refurbished tennis court is at your disposal. The walled garden offers a tranquil setting to savour some peace and quiet while enjoying a glass of wine. You can listen to the buzzing bees, now in their second year of honey production at Cumrew House. The walled garden is a vibrant place with four raised beds where we grow various vegetables and there's a help-yourself policy for seasonal fruits and vegetables.

The nearest shopping can be found in Brampton, just 6 miles away, boasting excellent local butchers and a well-stocked Co-op.
