Seafront cottage in Lyme with fantastic views and private parking. Cliff Cottage is one of the iconic pink cottages overlooking beautiful Lyme Bay and the famous Cobb. Seconds away from the beach, the cottage also has easy access to the shops, galleries, cafés and pubs. Perfect for couples and families looking to enjoy Lyme whatever the season, the cottage provides a comfortable, cosy and well-equipped base for exploring the Jurassic Coast, a traditional beach holiday or simply relaxing in this wonderful and historic resort. Private garage parking a 6 minute walk from the seafront.

The Rose Family have been sharing their treasured seaside ‘home from home’ with couples and families since 1994. All bookings are dealt with personally by Sue Rose. Our rates are more than competitive and our Gold Award is proof that we do our best to ensure that everything in the cottage is right for you. Regular visitors have been returning each year (with the exception of lockdowns) for over 24 years. We know that most holiday let providers have online booking systems and can be booked with the click of a button but in order to offer the maximum flexibility with a personal approach we ask that would-be visitors get in touch with us direct.

We love having families with young children to stay as we know how much more enjoyable a holiday can be for parents (or grandparents) when you don't have to carry everything but the kitchen sink to and from the beach - it's less than a minute away! We can provide a travel cot and high chair on request at no extra charge. We also have lots of children's books and toys to make fitting everything in the suitcases a little easier. Garden furniture, BBQ and children’s beach toys are provided. A washing line in the back garden means wetsuits, towels etc can be dried outside rather than having to use the tumble drier (weather permitting). The cottage is kept cosy and warm in the colder months by high performance, low energy, user friendly Xana plus radiators and is double glazed.

See the Cobb each morning without getting out of bed. Watch the world go by from the terrace. No hassle getting to the beach with children and everything but the kitchen sink - it’s less than a minute away. Even the garden walls & hedges smile at Cliff Cottage!

Weekly lets are usually Friday to Friday although other start dates may be possible depending on the time of year and availability. Call Sue to discuss your specific requirements on 07533 408003. Short Breaks usually for a minimum of 4 nights - prices per night start @ £140.00.
Prices per week in 2023 from £695.00 - £1,525.00.

Payment: 30% deposit at the time of booking with the balance due one month before the holiday start date unless there is less than a month at the time of booking in which case the total is payable to secure the reservation. Online transfer, cheque or cash.

No extra charges!

Our prices include gas, electricity, Wi-Fi, towels for use in the cottage and bed linen. Visitors need to bring their own towels for use on the beach. We also provide instant coffee, tea bags, washing powder, fabric conditioner, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, two toilet rolls, washing up liquid and cleaning equipment at no extra charge. Prices include cleaning and laundry costs.

PARKING:

Cars may be driven along and parked on the lower level of the Parade for unloading and loading purposes only. We are delighted that we have finally managed to secure a garage in Lyme, a 6 minute walk away from the seafront and can now offer our visitors private parking. More information available at the time of booking.
