It features comfortable leather seating for at least six people, a large digital television with Freeview, Netflix and access to other streaming services using your own login. Lighting options include bright ceiling lights for reading and softer side lamps and there is an electric fire with a log-burning effect for added comfort.
The kitchen at Orchard House is spacious, fully equipped and sits at the heart of the home, offering everything you might need during your stay. It includes ample cupboards, generous work surfaces and a large country pine table with four chairs. Cooking facilities feature a five-ring gas hob, electric oven, toaster, kettle, Tassimo coffee machine, microwave and sandwich maker, along with a dishwasher and washing machine, both with quick-wash options. A large fridge freezer with wine rack and ice making is provided and towels, cleaning cloths, pegs, a mop, bucket and vacuum cleaner are also available for convenience.
The orangery-style, glass-topped dining room at Orchard House is a bright space opening through large patio doors onto the garden decking and barbecue area. It features a popular full-size table football game, and a dining table seating six for relaxed meals.
There are three comfortable ensuite bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed for flexibility and relaxation. The Polzeath Room, the largest at the front of the house, has a full-length balcony with sweeping town views and can be arranged as a super king or twin beds. Its ensuite includes both a bath and shower with underfloor heating and a heated towel rail, while the room itself features a wardrobe, dressing table, seating area, and Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix. The Rock Room at the rear enjoys evening sunshine and a spacious ensuite shower room, also with underfloor heating. It can be set up as a super king or twin beds and includes a walk-in wardrobe, dressing table and comfortable seating. The centrally located Padstow Room is ideal for couples or children, with twin or king bed options, a private ensuite shower room and features such as a wardrobe, dressing table, Smart TV and seating. Each ensuite room provides comfort and privacy for guests sharing the house.
Guests have full use of the private, secure gardens at Orchard House. From the dining room, two wide patio doors open onto a stone barbecue area with chairs and loungers, complete with family-size disposable trays, tools and cleaning equipment. The doors also lead to a decked patio with a table, chairs and umbrella, offering a private space to relax or enjoy long summer evenings. A lawned area sits beside the deck, with a larger lawn running along the side and front of the house. Please note that the front garden is not fully enclosed.
The property is well located within a few miles of Padstow, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Boscastle and several clean sandy beaches including Polzeath, Daymer Bay, Rock, Harlyn, Trevone, Constantine, Treyarnon and Porthcothan. Nearby attractions also include the grand Cornish houses of Pencarrow, Prideaux Place and the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House.
