Y Felin is a stunning holiday cottage on a working farm in Carmarthenshire sleeping up to 8 people. It has been finished to the highest of standards, providing clean, modern and comfortable accommodation that is ideal for family holidays. This beautiful barn conversion is a short drive from the centre of Kidwelly and only a 20-minute drive from Carmarthen. We also provide fabulous accommodation in 2 safari tents and 1 shepherd’s hut.
Inside our cottage you will find an open plan living space, with comfortable seating surrounding a wood burner and a spacious dining area. This means that breaks away with friends and families can be enjoyed together in a social space that is perfect for entertaining. Other amenities and facilities include:

Well-equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
Mezzanine floor with leather suites.
Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Two king-size bedrooms.
Two twin rooms (can be made into super king-size beds if required).
One of the bedrooms has disabled access and an en suite wet room. The mezzanine floor in the family bedroom now has 2 full-size single beds permanently, making it a family room sleeping 4.
Outside is plenty of space for all the family to enjoy. The garden is enclosed and large enough for children to play. There is also a hot tub, patio table and chairs, BBQ and trampoline.
We also offer accommodation in our two luxury safari tents, Red Kite and Merlin. Both tents are nestled in a countryside setting and come with a veranda to relax on whilst savouring the views. You can also soak away your troubles in the hot tub. The tents come with a king-size double bedroom, a bunk room and a bathroom with a shower. Rustle up delicious dishes in the kitchen and stay toasty in front of the wood burner.
Our charming shepherd’s hut is perfect for a romantic getaway and comes with a lavish king-size bed and a private bathroom. A well-fitted kitchen has a 2 ring-hob and fridge, whilst the fully length window offers stunning country views.
Kidwelly is a fantastic place to stay for enjoying the best of both Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. It also has a magnificent castle.
