The Blacksmiths Shop

This charming property sleeps up to 7 people and boasts glorious views of the surroundings. The cottage offers a wonderful blend of traditional and modern features, including stunning oak beams. Our level access property is perfect for wheelchairs users and includes a contemporary wet room.

You can unwind the spacious open plan living area which comes with comfy seating, a TV and wood burner to keep you warm on a chilly day. A well-equipped kitchen includes a range of excellent appliances: crockery, dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, cafetiere and washing machine. Three comfortable bedrooms are available: a single, double and king.

The Swallows

Our fabulous cottage sleeps up to 4 people and is ideal for a family celebration or special occasion. The ground level cottage is suitable for people with reduced mobility and is tastefully furnished throughout.

The lovely open plan kitchen/dining/living area will suit all your needs. You can relax and socialise in the lounge which includes seating and a TV. The dining table seats up to 8 people and the well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, electric range oven, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine. Outside there is a patio table and chairs. Perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

The Barn

We offers accommodation for up to 8 people in The Barn, ideal for a family gathering. The barn comes with a large open plan, York stone flagged lounge and kitchen with patio doors that open onto the outside seating area. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a dishwasher, electric range cooker, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

The Six Mistle

Our tastefully converted holiday cottage used to be a milking parlour and now sleeps up to 8 people in 4 double bedrooms, including 1 en suite. Three of the rooms are on the first floor and the fourth has disabled access.

We have a spacious open plan lounge/dining area and a kitchen with a York stone flagged floor. Facilities include a wood burner, dishwasher, electric range cooker, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Downstairs there is a wet room and upstairs there is a family bathroom.

Visiting Emley & Exploring West Yorkshire

We are a great base for exploring the local area. Nearby you can visit Huddersfield and climb Castle Hill, a 997-foot historic hilltop tower. The Tolson Memorial Museum houses lots of fascinating historical and natural history exhibits. Further attractions to visit include:

Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Hepworth Museum in Wakefield.
Kirklees Light Railway.
Mining Museum.
Holmfirth.
You are in countryside in a gated community with easy access to the M1, only a 5 minute drive away. Leeds is only 25 minutes away and York is 40.
