The Granary offers self catering accommodation situated in the village of Ditton Priors and just a short drive from the lovely town of Bridgnorth. Our detached holiday cottage boasts superb views over rural Shropshire.

The Granary

The combined sitting room and dining area has a good quality sprung sofa bed and the galley style kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The library is something we are very proud of especially if you like antiques, old houses and books on the countryside. The bedroom has two full size twin beds, from which steps lead to the yard.

Hot water, central heating, colour TV/video are all included. Pillows, duvets and blankets are provided but please bring your own covers, sheets and towels. If this is not possible linen can be provided as long as we know. There is a telephone based on an honesty box contribution. Also a laundry room.

There is a host of animals at our holiday cottage including goats, pigs, horses, ducks and geese. Guests are welcome to bring their own pets with them free of charge!

Local Area

The village of Ditton Priors has a good pub, shops, butcher, post office and surgery. Bridgnorth is a friendly and charming market town, evoking the atmosphere and way of life of earlier times, set on the borders of rolling South Shropshire countryside. The town is divided between High Town built on a sandstone bluff some 200 feet above the valley of the River Severn and Low Town on the banks of the river.

Our self catering cottage is situated in the heart of the Shropshire Hills which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it a haven for walkers and cyclists.
