Grieveshouse Holiday Cottage offers outstanding self catering accommodation in Stenness, nestled in the heart of Orkney, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are only a short drive to the ferry terminal in Stromness and close to the main bus route, local hotel and garage/fuel pumps.

Accommodation

Our charming cottage is beautifully furnished and sleeps up to 5 people, ideal for a family or group looking for somewhere peaceful to stay. Guests have sole use of the whole cottage and surrounding area.

A modern and well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances for home-cooking, including a fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer etc. Enjoy some delicious meals around the dining table which includes chairs and a bench. You can unwind in the cosy living room which has comfortable seating, a toasty open fire and a TV.

Three attractive bedrooms are available: 1 queen, 1 double and 1 single bed. All the rooms share a bathroom with a shower.

Visiting Stenness & Exploring Orkney

We are a great base for exploring the local area. In nearby Stromness, you can stroll around the quaint alleyways, browse the shops or grab a coffee in one of the cafes. Enjoy learning at the Stromness Museum and see some wonderful exhibitions at the Pier Arts Centre. Further afield discover one of the majestic ancient monuments on the island, including the Ring of Brodgar and the Skara Brae prehistoric village. Excellent attractions to visit include:
