The Potting Shed offers wonderful self catering accommodation in Glanford. Located in the gorgeous grounds of Bayfield Hall, a superb 18th Century country house, we are only 2 miles from the coast at Blakeney and perfect for a memorable break in Norfolk.

Accommodation

Our cottage is based in a private, woodland setting next to the old kitchen garden, ideal for a peaceful gateway.

The property has been tastefully converted and enjoys a light and airy feel, with rooms opening to the rafters. Inside there is a spacious sitting room to unwind after a day sightseeing. Facilities include a log burner, Freeview/Freest, DVD play and soft furnishings.

The kitchen/dining room comes with a range of appliances: a stainless steel electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a microwave and a fridge with a freezer box.

We have a king-size bedroom with an en suite bathroom including a shower over the bath.

Outside we have a private south-facing terrace and the old kitchen garden walls, with garden furniture and a BBQ provided for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

You can stroll through nine miles of permissive footpaths throughout Bayfield Estate, home to some of the oldest oaks in the country.

Visiting Glanford & Exploring Norfolk

We are in an ideal location for naturalists, birdwatchers and walkers looking to explore the area. Visit Cley Spy which stocks a large range of birds and wildlife or explore The Shell Masuma. You can try The Art Cafe, a gallery and licensed cafe or visit the larger villages of Wiveton and Letheringsett. Attractions to visit include:
