Stunning panoramic mountain views are offered from Bluefolds Highland Holiday Cottages in rural Glenlivet in the Cairngorms National Park in Moray. An excellent location for walking, wildlife and whisky, imagine after an invigorating walk relaxing with a “wee dram” or a nice glass of wine while enjoying the views.
Our 4 cottages are on a hillside in open farmland, in a tastefully restored steading building and farmhouse, with views to the Glenlivet distillery, one of many on the Malt Whisky Trail.
Choose from 4 cottages: Dronach sleeps 2-6; Aberlour sleeps 2-4; Glenlivet sleeps 2-6 and Folds sleeps 2-8. 15% discount is offered any cottage any dates for 1 or 2 people. The cottages are double glazed with modern kitchens, centrally heated and comfortably furnished with, digital satellite TV, DVD and Video players, CD/radio players and coal fired stoves as a feature in the lounges in the steading and in the kitchen in the farmhouse. Linen and towels are included. Cot and high chair available free. Electricity is metered. Barbecue and patio furniture is available at each cottage.
Aberlour Cottage (Sleeps 4)Ground floor has an open plan lounge / dining area, a modern kitchen including microwave and washing machine, shower room with toilet and basin and 1 twin bed room. First floor has 1 large bedroom with 1 double and 1 single bed. Patio door opens into walled courtyard.
Dronach cottage (Sleeps 6)Ground Floor has an open plan lounge / dining area, a modern kitchen including microwave and washing machine, shower room with toilet and basin. First floor has 2 large bedrooms each with 1 double and 1 single bed.
Glenlivet (Sleeps 6)All on one level, it has an open plan lounge / dining area, a raised level modern kitchen is up 5 steps and includes a washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer, bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and basin. There are 2 large bedrooms with 1 double and 1 single bed and 1 double room.
Folds Cottage (Sleeps 8)Downstairs a large lounge / dining room with a separate kitchen which includes hob, double oven, microwave and dishwasher; separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. A double bedroom with ensuite shower room; bathroom with bath and shower are also downstairs. Upstairs 2 family rooms with 1 double and 1 single bed with wash hand basins.
Visiting The HighlandsGlenlivet is easy to tour from and is part of the well known Castle trail. Drumin castle home of the infamous “Wolf of Badenoch” is on the Glenlivet Estate while Ballindalloch castle home of the Macpherson-Grants is a short drive away. Whisky nosings, tastings and tours are available, free at many distilleries, including the Glenlivet and the Glenfiddich in Dufftown. Our scenery changes from the dramatic mountains in the Cairngorms National Park to beautiful sandy beaches on the Moray Firth coast at Lossiemouth, Roseisle and Cullen.
Rates : From £452 to £835 per week depending on season & unit. Discount if only 2 people stay.
