Tullochwood Lodges

Summary

Tullochwood Lodges are situated in gloriously peaceful woodland by an enchanting Lochan in the Laich of Moray. There are 8 self catering lodges available which stand in a sheltered valley, in the village of Rafford just 4 miles from the town of Forres. Moray is a beautiful area for holiday lodges in Scotland and is central for touring the whole of northern Scotland.

Lodges

Type A and B Lodges: The magnificent 3 bedroom self catering lodges were individually designed. Much loved by our regular guests, they provide a wonderfully relaxing holiday atmosphere for couples or groups up to 6.

The modern kitchens are fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, fan oven and large fridge/freezer. The living area is spacious. Each lodge has a conservatory overlooking the lochan.

The main bedroom has a double bed. The other 2 bedrooms, in all 4 lodges, have twin beds.

Two of the lodges (Type A) have 2 bathrooms, 1 of which is en suite to the main bedroom. Both have showers and the larger has a bath.

The other 2 lodges (Type B) were designed with the ambulant disabled in mind and in place of the 2 separate bathrooms, there is a spacious single bathroom. These are classified as Category 2 disabled access.

Type C Lodges: The 2 bedroom lodges are for smaller parties and young families seeking value for money. Ideal for 1 or 2 couples.

The first bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has twin beds.

The bathroom is equipped with bath and shower over.

In all lodges a cot and highchair can be provided on request at no extra charge.

The living room and kitchen/dining area are open plan and well equipped.

Location

The delightful floral town of Forres, 4 miles away, has excellent shopping and sporting amenities including tennis, golf, and swimming.

There are many interesting places further afield including The Highlands, Loch Ness, the Landmark Visitor Centre at Carrbridge, the Wildlife Park at Kingussie and the Ospreys at Boat of Garten will beckon you.
