Entered via an eye-catching glass-and-steel bridge at first-floor level, the barn opens into a generous living space where a fully equipped kitchen sits at one end and deep sofas gather round an inset wood-burning stove at the other; soaring oak beams evoke the building’s heritage, while the spiral staircase, bi-fold doors, balcony and sleek stove lend a contemporary edge. Descending the spiral stair brings you to two large king-size bedrooms, each topped with British White cowhide, softened by sheepskin rugs and fronted by wide bi-fold doors that lead to a private patio. Both rooms have their own stylish ensuite, one a wet room, the other a bathroom, each fitted with rain showers and stocked with plush linens, fluffy towels and Welsh toiletries. Although the barn adjoins the main house, it enjoys a spacious private garden and guests are free to wander the rest of the grounds and the adjoining wildlife reserve.

Reached via steps leading down to a ground-floor entrance, The Snug opens into a cleverly designed living space that pairs a compact, fully equipped kitchen with a contemporary wood-burner and a generous sofa. A spiral staircase rises to a double bedroom dressed with a British White cowhide throw and accented by Moroccan plaster and gently curved feature walls. At the top of the stairs, a sleek shower room offers a rain shower, plush towels and an array of luxury toiletries, while thick sheepskin rugs add warmth underfoot in every room. The Snug adjoins Yaffle Barn at first-floor level, and the two can be booked together to sleep eight to ten guests, sharing a large garden yet each retaining its own private seating area. Guests are also free to wander the wider grounds and the neighbouring wildlife reserve.
